Martha Beckman
Martha grew up in Whitman, Massachusetts, which is famous for the origination of the Toll House Cookie. At 22 she married her husband, Brian and enjoyed traveling with him during his 20 years as a Naval Officer. They both loved Maine and were able to spend three tours here before retiring, in 1990, to Bath in the winter and their waterfront home in Phippsburg in the summer. Having set their roots here they enjoy all Maine has to offer. Brian, being Maine Guide for fishing, knows the best places to catch stripers!
Martha began her real estate career in 1986 and enjoys working with the people she meets. Whether first time buyers or seasoned veterans, she provides excellent service. She is warm, knowledgeable, and intuitive. Having a background in renewing older homes, she understands interior design, construction, spacial design and color. She is an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and a member since 1989 of the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI).
As Martha enjoys the culinary arts, she provides a gourmet picnic lunch for all day buying excursions. Just ask her what the muffin of the day is!
When not selling real estate, Martha enjoys dancing. She and Brian are avid square and round dancers and travel far and wide to dance all over the country. Martha also enjoys entertaining family and friends, reading, and sewing.
Martha loves what she does and looks forward to every new real estate experience.
